Fox's charming family comedy Raising Hope has been one of the few bright spots in what's otherwise been a pretty pathetic season for new network shows. Well, good news: Fox has decided to keep Hope alive. Vulture has learned that the network will give an early second-season order to the show this morning, just in time for its portion of the TV Critics Association out in Pasadena. Capitalizing on a strong Glee lead-in, Hope is the No. 1 new show of the season among viewers under 35 and one of the few live-action-comedy success stories Fox has had in recent years. Creator Greg Garcia says, "I'm happy that the show is getting another year,” before adding, “but the fact that I've been trying to think of a funny quote for the last two hours and this is the best I could come up with makes me a little nervous about season two."
