Jimmy Kimmel Makes a Minor Jump

It's one small step for Jimmy Kimmel, but it could make a big difference for his ratings. The talk-show host's Jimmy Kimmel Live! is moving from its regular 12:05 a.m. slot to a midnight start. This means Nightline will lose five minutes, and will be reduced to a 25-minute format. In exchange for the five-minute cut, Nightline will get a series of thirteen prime-time episodes. Part of the motivation for Kimmel's slight bump up: The ABC show's seen a 2 percent increase in viewers in recent months. [AP]
