Peter Jackson’s Ulcer Derails The Hobbit
He — and 'The Hobbit' — should be fine!
Wednesday night Peter Jackson was admitted to a Wellington, New Zealand, hospital with a perforated ulcer. He underwent surgery and should be fine — but filming on The Hobbit will be delayed a few days. "Sir Peter is currently resting comfortably and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery," read a statement from the production. "Sir Peter's surgery is not expected to impact on his directing commitment to The Hobbit beyond a slight delay to the start of filming." [Deadline]
