Harvey and Bob Weinstein are heading back to TV — and they’re hoping to get producer Meryl Poster to lead the way. Poster previously worked with the Weinsteins as a producer and co-president at Miramax Films, producing Chicago, Chocolat, The Cider House Rules, and Cop Land, among others. She left (on good terms) in 2005 and was under contract with NBC Universal. But that contract is up on February 1, and they want her back to head up Miramax TV. If Poster makes the move, she’ll join former News Corp. exec Mike Lang. Miramax formerly launched Project Runway and Project Greenlight — and Poster appeared on the latter. [Deadline]
