One of Muammar Qaddafi’s Sons Is Producing a Mickey Rourke Movie

Muatassim Qaddafi, son of besieged and possibly dead Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi, has a well-documented penchant for American pop culture, hiring Mariah Carey, Usher, and Beyoncé to perform for him. But another of Qadaffi's sons, Al-Saadi Qaddafi, is actually a full-fledged Hollywood producer. Al-Saadi's company, Natural Selection, is currently producing The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer with Mickey Rourke, and Isolation, a thriller starring Susan Sarandon's daughter, Eva Amurri. The crisis in Libya may now make actors and investors wary of Al-Saadi Qaadafi's company, but friends promise the Hollywood insider is "less political than his father," at least.
