Shia LaBeouf Now Bolstering Leading-Man Status via Bar Fights

TMZ reports that Shia LaBeouf was cuffed by the police after a frantic bar fight Friday night at Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks, California. Mad Bull owner Richard Disisto's take: "The boys were out drinking, boys had too much to drink, one guy comments to the other and the next thing you know someone gets punched. Whattya gonna do? It happens." Even better: An anonymous bar source says "Every time Shia comes to the bar, he's a problem and it's starting to get old." (There was apparently another Shia-centric scuffle only a few weeks back.) The only possible explanation as to why Shia's going around looking for brawls? Knowing his franchised blockbusters haven't quite convinced everyone he's got the requisite swagger to be a true leading man, LaBeouf's on a dedicated mission to toughen up his image, one bar fight at a time. So, the lesson here: If you ever find yourself for some reason drinking with Shia LaBeouf, keep a pool cue within reach. [TMZ]
