Could Camille Grammer Join Real Housewives of New York?

By

Yesterday, we learned that Andy Cohen will be taking us on another mind-numbing anthropological journey: The Real Housewives of Miami. But in turn, Real Housewives of New York, set to premiere this month, was suddenly pushed back. Initial reports from the New York Post said, "The season is filled with gold ... but production just wrapped, so Bravo thought it best to give editors time." We wanted to believe that, but today the same paper is singing a new tune: "Producers suddenly scrapped the new season because it lacked explosive catfight-filled drama." There is hope, however: "Insiders said one option to up the drama might be to bring Beverly Hills housewife Camille Grammer to New York, the location of her divorce with Kelsey. [Jill] Zarin has invited her to hang out with the Housewives." Compared to what we've been dragged through in other cities, the New York Housewives almost seem normal now. Grammer, the Beverly Hills lightning rod, on the other hand, is a deluded former (soft-core) porn star going through a difficult and very public divorce. Basically, she's the best thing to happen to the Housewives franchise in a while, and we'd welcome her to this city. [Page Six/NYP]
