The movie is called R.I.P.D., and it’s based on a Dark Horse comic in which dead cops patrol the underworld (they work in the Rest in Peace Department). Galfianakis is just in talks to join the project right now, but if he does he’d be acting alongside Ryan Reynolds (ScarJo’s ex would play a recently murdered officer out for revenge). Can Galifianakis pull off a crime drama? Should be interesting to find out. [24Frames via Collider]
