This weekend's Sucker Punch offers up a lot of swordplay, but it's decidedly new-school: How many times can a high-jumping vixen slash a steam-powered, CG-created Nazi before you lose interest? (Remarkably, this happens fast.) If you like your sword fights more practical and down-and-dirty, we'd instead suggest 13 Assassins, a new samurai movie directed by the controversial Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer). The film recently played like gangbusters at South by Southwest, and though it won't be in theaters until April 29, you can catch it on demand starting today. Should you need more convincing, Vulture's got an exclusive clip of one of the film's sword battles. Enjoy!
