Charlie Sheen’s Request for a Public Trial Thwarted

Sorry, Charlie: Today, a Los Angeles judge denied Charlie Sheen's attempt to pull his Two and a Half Men contract dispute out of arbitration. Sheen had argued that he wanted a public trial, not a closed-doors arbitration; his legal team will next approach the original judge assigned to the lawsuit. It's awfully nice of him to try to cut out the middleman, though we have a feeling that those private arbitration details will make their way to TMZ anyway. [LAT]
