Christina Aguilera Will Judge The Voice

NBC intends to take a bite out of American Idol and Simon Cowell's The X Factor with its April music competition The Voice, and the network has certainly lined up the star wattage for it. Joining Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green as "musician coaches" (or judges, if you like) is Christina Aguilera, who comes to the show after a turbulent month that involved an arrest, a botched Super Bowl performance, and a redemption at the Grammys. Hopefully, she'll keep her balance on The Voice, since the competition's main gimmick is that judges will sit in rotating chairs that will face away from the contestants during their first audition; only when a singer is "claimed" by the judges will that judge finally get to turn around and make sure that he or she didn't pick a total uggo.
