Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Producers Tried to Hire Aaron Sorkin

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark: The show may suck, but the drama keeps getting better and better! According to Michael Riedel, the show's producers approached Aaron Sorkin about joining up, not even to rewrite the book ("the producers were going to hire a team of comic-book writers to do that"), but just to give the production some cache. Sadly, Sorkin demurred, thus almost automatically precluding Spider-Man from ever uttering a line like, "“I'm five-foot-eleven, 160 pounds, and I shoot webs out of my wrists." [NYP]
