Judd Apatow, who’s producing a new Pee Wee Herman movie, had this to say about whether or not we’ll see what Pee Wee has been up to for the last 25 years: “No, it exists in its own world but it’s very imaginative. I think that’s one of the best characters of all time for me. It’s like W.C. Fields… It’s more like The Simpsons where in every episode he grew up in a different decade.”
