When Oprah announced that she would be ending The Oprah Winfrey Show in order to focus on her now-launched new cable network, OWN, she said her last episode would air on September 9, 2011. But perhaps because OWN isn’t doing so well and could use Oprah’s full attention sooner, Winfrey has moved up the airdate of the finale: The last installment of The Oprah Winfrey Show will now air on May 25. We’re expecting her to give away small islands to each and every member of the studio audience in attendance. [USAT]
