Though Chris Brown went on a window-damaging, shirt-doffing rampage on yesterday's Good Morning America after he was asked about his past with Rihanna, anchor Robin Roberts said today that Brown knew what he was getting into. "Anytime we have a guest here on the program, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter, the topics that we're going to discuss," explained Roberts. "Even right before the interview, I said that to Chris, and I was shocked like everybody else, because we've had a wonderful relationship." Roberts said that she's been close with the singer since she conducted a 2009 interview with Brown after his sentencing (and the clip she showed from that — Brown contritely saying, "I was wrong for what I did, and I would definitely say that it's not something I look past or look over" — was a far cry from his response yesterday, "It's not really a big deal to me now"), and that Brown might be having second thoughts about storming out. "We've extended an invitation and we'd love to have him back and he's seriously considering that," she said, adding that all the show's staffers "wish him the absolute best."
