After he plays a bulging, 3-D Hulk, Mark Ruffalo will return to his indie roots. Homeland Security's most wanted actor has landed the role of legendary jazz pianist Joe Albany in the upcoming period picture Low Down, based on Amy Albany's memoir Low Down: Junk, Jazz, and Other Fairy Tales From Childhood. The movie will be told from the perspective of Amy Albany, Joe's 11-year-old daughter, as she watches her drug-addicted dad make his way to the top of the jazz scene of the sixties and seventies.
