I have been suffering from severe nunchuck withdrawal of late (not covered by Aetna), so I’m psyched to hear Adult Swim picked up Black Dynamite, an animated series based on the 2009 blaxploitation spoof of the same name. The show, headed by The Boondocks’ artist Carl Jones, will follow the adventures of Black Dynamite and his team as they continue to deliver justice until The Man. Even better, Black Dynamite is voiced by Michael Jai White himself, who will be joined by co-stars Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley and Byron Minn. No news on who will voice Ghost Abe Lincoln, but you better believe he’ll be saving the day from time to time. There’s no stopping him.
