Bill & Ted 3 Sounds As Righteous, Time Travel-Oriented As We Hoped

Do you think Sad Keanu was taken at the exact moment Reeves realized he might never again get to portray “Ted” Theodore Logan before the Grim Reaper visited him in real life? Well, it’s time for him to let his Wyld Stallyns run free, because in an interview about his new film Henry’s Crime, Keanu Reeves revealed Bill & Ted 3 plot points. From the sounds of it, things are more moderner than before. You know, bigger, and yet smaller. It’s computers. San Dimas High School football RULES. No, but seriously, it sounds pretty great.

“I know a little bit,” Reeves told MTV. “When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened. […] So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back.” AN ELEMENT OF TIME! Couldn’t have put it better ourselves, dude. I think we can safely assume the upcoming sequel will feature one or more of the following elements: a young, cool version of Bill and Ted that teach their lame dads how to be gnarly, Billy and Ted’s CGI youthification à la Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy, and/or a historical babe friend to join their trio, most likely from the Twilight/Hungry Games community. As long as that disgusting alien from Bogus Journey doesn’t make an appearance again, I’m down with any and all of it. Seriously, that thing looked like an armpit fetus.
