TV Line reports that Katherine Heigl is dipping a toe back into TV: She just signed on to star in and produce the HBO movie The Knitting Circle. Based on Ann Horn Horn’s 2007 novel, Heigl would play a mother who finds solace in a knitting circle after her 5-year-old daughter dies, only to find that the other members of her group have tragic backstories, too.
