Lupe Fiasco Had B.o.B.’s ‘Airplanes’ First, Too

During the promotion for his album Lasers, Lupe Fiasco told the Guardian he was "lightly suicidal, at moments medium suicidal" about having his version of "Nothin' on You" — a song B.o.B. would later turn into a smash hit — rejected by his record label. Now it turns out Lupe had first crack at B.o.B.'s other big hit, "Airplanes": The original Fiasco version has leaked online. Vulture made light of the situation last summer, before the damage it did to Lupe's psyche and the extent of B.o.B.'s thievery were revealed. Okay, if B.o.B. takes anything else from Lupe, we are personally calling the police. [Spin]
