Stephen King and John Mellencamp Are Collaborating on a Musical, Obviously

Another one for the mad-libs files! Stephen King and John Mellencamp are teaming up on a musical called Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, which will be staged in Atlanta's Alliance Theater in April of next year. King did the story, which is based on a series of real deaths from 1957, and Mellencamp is doing the score. Also, an insider tells Vulture that Mellencamp and King are planning to get sweet matching Ghost Brothers letterman jackets and wearing them everywhere for a while. [AP]
