Both The Office and Parks and Rec are getting super-sized for their April 28th episodes, with The Office now running from 9-9:50pm and Parks and Rec taking over from 9:50-10:30pm. That particular episode of The Office is Steve Carell’s official goodbye, so it makes sense that he gets an extra 20 minutes. The Parks and Rec extra time is just a happy result of The Office’s weirdo scheduling. I’ll take it!
Both of these longer episodes are in addition to hour-long season finales for each show, which will air on May 19th. It’s never enough! We demand a 24-hour network of NBC Thursday night comedies!
