What little we heard of William Shatner’s next album back in February was enticing enough: It’s a covers album with a space theme! There’d be some “Bohemian Rhapsody”! Some of metal’s biggest stars would be collaborating with him! Well, now that Shatner’s website has revealed the full track listing (the album, Searching for Major Tom, is due out later this year), you can consider our record bought: Shatner’s doing “Rocket Man.” Yes, he’s finally laying down a definitive version of the song he covered in brilliant, super-weird spoken-word fashion back in 1978.
