Emily Mortimer is in talks to play the female lead in Aaron Sorkin's HBO pilot More As the Story Develops — a part Marisa Tomei was in talks for just a few weeks ago. She'd play Mackenzie, producer extraordinaire and the former flame of Jeff Daniels's character. In the script, Mackenzie is described as "ageless and beautiful," and in typical Sorkin-female fashion, she's great at her job and terrible at everything else. Mortimer's last TV role was as Jack's girlfriend on the first season of 30 Rock, where she popularized the concept of avian bone syndrome. [Deadline]
