Grizzly Bear, Walkmen, Killers Head Into Studio

In three independent but equally promising bits of news, three bands Vulture likes are planning on recording new music soon. The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser reports that the band has enough material for a new album and will lay that down in November after they get done with their current touring responsibilities. Meanwhile, Grizzly Bear have left the following message on their Facebook page: “Towards the end of this month we head to Texas and continue writing new songs and begin recording new album!” And, finally, the Killer’s drummer Ronnie Vannucci (who, by the way, just dropped a totally rad solo song) says that next Tuesday, “We start doing some writing again. We have piles of songs we want to show each other. We’re going to get back in that room and start working.” [24Bit, Facebook, NME]
