Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon announced this afternoon that their twins are named Monroe and Moroccan Scott Cannon. Daughter Monroe, named after Marilyn Monroe, does not have a middle name. Son Moroccan — Moroccan! — is not in fact named for the nation of Morocco, but rather for the room in Carey and Cannon's home that is bedecked in Moroccan decor. The room was featured on Carey's infamous episode of Cribs: "It's very festive; it's like a mirage took place here. It's like a fairy-tale room, so that's why I like it," Carey said on the episode. Step aside, military history: There's a new Moroccan Cannon in town. [Marquee/CNN]
