Matthew Morrison had intended to go out on the road by himself in support of his upcoming solo album, but on Good Morning America yesterday, he amended those plans considerably: Now he’ll be opening up for the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block on their Nostalgic Chimera tour. (Wait, it’s not called that? They should really reconsider.) The move lets Morrison play stadiums instead of the theaters he was booked in, and it makes the possibility of a Gywneth Paltrow duet cameo that much more enticing, since it could result in a GOOP newsletter touting her new favorite recipe for “balsamic glazed figs, passed down by Donald Wahlberg.” [Pop & Hiss/LAT]
