NBC's fall 2011 schedule includes six new dramas: the Prime Suspect and The Firm reboots, NBC's retorts to Mad Men (The Playboy Club), Glee (Smash), and Inception (Awake), and a "fairy tales are real" procedural. Take a look.
Maria Bello takes over for Helen Mirren in this remake of the British detective series.
The Playboy Club
This period drama stars Eddie Cibrian as the ultimate playboy, enjoying the playboy club in early sixties Chicago. With a voice-over from the Hef himself.
Just one of this year's "fairy tales are real" series, this one about a homicide detective dealing with fairy tales turned true crime.
Debra Messing stars in this drama (a favorite of new NBC capo Robert Greenblatt, who developed it at Showtime) set behind the scenes of a Broadway musical, but Katharine McPhee steals the show.
Previously titled R.E.M, this Inception-ish series stars Jason Isaacs as a detective leading two lives. It will premiere mid-season.
No clips for this one yet, but it's based on the John Grisham book (which already spawned a Tom Cruise movie).
