It’s been 10 years since Wet Hot American Summer was released. 10 years! A long time, but not so long that director/co-writer David Wain doesn’t want to make a a sequel/prequel to the cult classic. Here’s what he told the Q&A Podcast: “The prequel would be the same summer so they would be 20 years old for the part yeah, but not younger. So it would be 40 year olds playing 16 year olds. And yeah, we’re in the early stages of thinking about that.” OK, I’m on board. Make it happen, please.
