Before Jenna Fischer landed The Office, she had to put up with a few odd jobs to pay the bills, like working at a car wash and manning the phones for a psychic hotline. During a recent Hollywood Reporter roundtable for comedy actresses, Fischer explained how she prepared for the latter, despite having no supernatural powers whatsoever. Turns out, it's kind of an easy job to get! And Fischer was simultaneously the best and worst psychic you could hope to call; worst, in that she wasn't very good at monetizing her customers, but also the best if you were hoping to dial a budding actress who's uniquely dialed in to her own empathy. Seriously, listen to her tale of how she turned around a prank call and you'll be asking her to read your palm in no time. [HR]
