With Chris Meloni off of Law & Order: SVU (and on to The Man of Steel) and Mariska Hargitay poised to jump ship soon, NBC announced today that the show has added two new actors to the SVU beat, Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish. The new gig shouldn't be a stretch for either actor, as they're both coming off of law-enforcement gigs on canceled procedurals: Pino was a regular on Cold Case, while Giddish starred on NBC's short-lived U.S. Marshal drama Chase. Sorry, onetime contender Jennifer Love Hewitt: You'll have to investigate child sex slavery and guest-star rapists on your own time.
