Promising “a cross between The Office and Extras,” Ricky Gervais and Warwick Davis’s Life’s Too Short trailer offers a taste of the endearing frustration, preening dickishness and, I’m assuming, Willow jokes that lie in store later this year. Made in partnership with Stephen Merchant and shot as a faux documentary, Davis stars as “a fictional version of himself. He is desperate, conniving, fame-hungry and self-centred, but always gets his comeuppance.” We don’t see it, but afterward Warwick eventually has that latte guy killed. And hilarity ensues!
