Sonja Morgan’s Financial Troubles Continue

Last year, Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan filed for bankruptcy. A month ago, a U.S. Court of Appeals judge upheld a ruling that demanded Morgan pay $7 million to Hannibal Productions after pulling out of financing the film Fast Flash to Bang Time. And now: Morgan — who, in court papers, describes herself as a "television personality" with an income of $26,000 and homes in New York, Telluride, and France — lost a malpractice claim against her lawyers, failing to receive the payout she hoped to use for all or part of the Hannibal judgment. Speaking out about the verdict, she told the Post: "I'm shocked. I don't know [how I'll pay], but I'm a hard worker. I'll survive. Mo' money, mo' problems." If only Vulture recap victories were compensated, Morgan, a front-runner to win the season, would be rolling in cash by now. [Page Six/NYP]
