Spider-Man Is Finally a ‘Frozen’ Show

After months and months of preview shows, the removal of original director Julie Taymor, and multiple accidents, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is said to finally be ready to go. Less than a week before the show’s June 14 official opening night, producers say there will be no future script rewrites, new lyrics, or choreography — which is a huge relief for the show’s cast and crew. Audiences on Tuesday and after can expect to see a new song from Bono and the Edge, along with a completely reworked second act. “I assure you that there are a lot of very excited and relieved people at the Foxwoods Theater today,” Mr. McKinley said. “But no one will be celebrating until Tuesday night.” Fingers crossed there’ll be no new accidents.
