In an endearingly unorthodox move, the Rapture have premiered “How Deep Is Your Love?” — the first track off their upcoming album In the Grace of Your Love to see the light of day, and their first bit of new material since 2006’s Pieces of the People We Love (sensing a pattern?!) — by releasing a video of the song playing on a turntable, with a disco ball spinning atop it. That means the sound quality is perhaps not ideal here, although it doesn’t have to be for you to hear the important elements: the clattering drum groove, the straining vocals, the summer’s latest great saxophone solo. It is now Friday afternoon; please, use this to officially inaugurate your weekend.
