As part of their segment on MTV2’s 120 Minutes, Matt Pinfield asked always-hilarious rap trio Das Racist if they’d ever met the Beastie Boys, whom they’ve named as inspiration in the past. Yes: They met with Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz over ramen noodles once, after which they received the e-mail snub treatment. “He sent us a beat … and then he never really got back to us,” explained hype man Ashok Kondabolu. “He was just there for the free food. What’s up, Ad-Rock?” added Himanshu Suri. We’re pretty sure it’s all in good fun, though — earlier in the video Suri talks about exchanging nude photos with Diplo. [MTV Hive]
