Comedy cameo king Jon Hamm will appear on five episodes of David Cross's The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret next season, IFC announced today. Even though the show is set in England, Hamm will tragically not have a British accent. (It's probably safer for everyone that way, to keep the international space/sexytime continuum intact and all.) Hamm tends to play comic characters who lack any form of self-awareness, whether it's Drew's handsomeness bubble on 30 Rock or Ted's alarming callousness in Bridesmaids, and that persona fits in perfectly between Will Arnett's absurd smugness and Cross's affable idiocy on Margaret. The show airs in January, but the dreams of a Hamm-Arnett vanity-off begin now.
