Bridesmaids recently became Judd Apatow’s biggest hit ever, and now he’s adding even more stars from that movie to his next directorial effort. THR reports that Melissa McCarthy has joined the film, formerly called This Is Forty, where she’ll play soccer mom to Super 8’s pyrotechnically inclined Ryan Lee. Her Bridesmaids co-star Chris O’Dowd was recently cast in the movie, which will star Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, and a passel of other Apatow protégés. (Still no sign of Wilson Phillips, though.) [THR]
