Things are finally getting moving on Charlie Kaufman’s next movie, Frank or Francis, his first since 2008’s Synecdoche, New York, which he will write and direct. Jack Black and Nicolas Cage are attached, and Steve Carell is in talks to join the cast. When word of Frank or Francis first bubbled up, it was said to be a musical about a filmmaker and the blogger who regularly insults him. Particularly if Nicolas Cage has been cast as said filmmaker, Vulture humbly volunteers to provide Method training for whomever gets cast as the blogger. [Deadline]
