Hollywood's rapidly emerging heroism trend continued this week, with Brad Pitt coming to the aid of a (slightly) injured woman on the set of World War Z. When a female extra fell while filming a scene in which a mass of people attempt to outrun an approaching mass of zombies, Pitt pulled her from the ground before she could be trampled by her co-escapees. According to a witness, "He didn't have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot ... But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee." Really, a bloodied knee seems like a small price to pay for even very brief skin-to-skin contact with Brad. (In fact, we wonder if she wishes she'd broken it; surely showing a little bone would have gotten a few words out of him!?) Either way, Ryan Gosling: There is yet another good Samaritan in your midst. Will you join forces, or attempt to destroy him? [THR]
