Ghost Is Coming to Broadway (and It’s a Musical)

Broadway, you in danger, girl: The Times is reporting that a musical adaptation of the 1990 supernatural weepie Ghost will head to Broadway in the spring after its successful London tryout. Tony winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage) will direct Ghost: The Musical, which Bruce Joel Rubin adapted from his own Oscar-winning script. It's not yet clear whether any of the relative unknowns who star in the London production will make the leap Stateside, but don't go looking to Whoopi Goldberg to reprise her role as Oda Mae Brown: She's already filled out the T in her EGOT.
