On October 4, Canadian songstress Feist will release Metals, her first full-length album in over four years. Metals will follow up The Reminder, the album that thrust her into Starbucks soundtrack and iPod-commercial levels of success. Yesterday, the album's first single, "How Come You Never Go There," made its radio debut. The track doesn't exactly pack the sing-along capacity that the swinging, Sesame Street–ified "1234" did, but instead meanders along on a bluesy, lovelorn path. Her voice, however, remains as pure and forceful as ever. [RS]
