Despite initial rumors that Stamos was considered to replace Charlie Sheen on the sitcom — rumors that Stamos and producers for the show strenuously denied — he will at least swing by the season premiere: TMZ reports that Stamos is one of many famous faces who will eulogize Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, during the funeral that will begin the episode. (Jenny McCarthy is another.) Hopefully, Stamos can deliver a speech as touching as the one Sheen gave to Access Hollywood when he first learned that Stamos might be replacing him: “He doesn’t have what I have and the show sucks if he’s on it. Sorry, just speaking the truth.” [TMZ]
