It's official: The Roseanne revival is in full swing. The comedian and nineties sitcom star has had quite a busy summer. After a decade out of the spotlight, Barr returned to television last month with Roseanne's Nuts, a Lifetime reality show that follows her as she manages her 40-acre macadamia nut farm in Hawaii. Then, during an appearance on the Tonight Show last week, she announced that she's running for president. And now she might be getting her own sitcom again. Working with longtime boyfriend Johnny Argent at 20th Century Fox Television, Barr is in the process of developing a family comedy called Downwardly Mobile. It's about a tight-knit blue-collar family struggling to make ends meet. Hmm. Sounds familiar. [THR]
