Theaters Will Always Have Midnight in Paris

Sony Pictures Classics has announced that it will re-expand Woody Allen’s surprisingly successful tale of Owen Wilson’s journey between twenties Paris and 2011’s ennui. The movie, currently playing in about 400 theaters, will open in an additional 500 to 600 venues on August 26, just in time to capitalize on pre–Labor Day instincts toward misguided nostalgia and romance.
