ABC Picks Up Jennifer Garner’s Cartoon Marriage

ABC recently announced it would take on the show, penned by Lizzie McGuire creator Terri Minsky and produced by Jennifer Garner’s Vandalia Films, which has another book-based script in the works for the network. The inspiration for this series is the graphic work Cartoon Marriage: Adventures in Love and Matrimony,” written and illustrated by Liza Donnelly and Michael Maslin, who self-style themselves “The New Yorker’s Cartooning Couple.” For a taste of what might be in store, we quickly scanned a selection of cartoons by the pair for the magazine.
