Adele appeared on British gabber The Jonathan Ross Show this past weekend, and she confessed that she hasn't written any new music in months. (She did admit that she ended a short relationship in May, "But no way is that boy getting a record about him. No way.") Still, there is one light at the end of the tunnel: "I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed." But not to record an album," she said. "This is actually a theme, what I've got to do. Wow, I'm really giving something away ... It's one song." Ross hummed the James Bond theme, and Adele demurred, but she also cackled, looked generally secretive, and gave him a real suspicious "Don't say James Bond" face. Admittedly, she might be recording, like, the closing credits love theme for Battleship, but would that require all the subterfuge? Watch the above video from the six-minute mark on and come to your own conclusions.
