Radiohead Gets an Hour-Long Colbert Special

The Report will double its run time next Monday, September 26, in order to accommodate a four-song set from Thom Yorke and friends' King of Limbs. Said Colbert, predictably: "I look forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors." If there is a late-night-cable god, he'll ensure that Colbert and Yorke do the "Single Ladies" dance together, or at least give an annotated reading from the Radiohead newspaper. Meanwhile, the band has also just announced two NYC concerts for next week, plus this weekend's SNL premiere; who knows what we all did to receive this sudden outpouring of attention from Radiohead, but thanks, guys, we'll take it.
