Michael Lewis to Adapt Liar’s Poker Himself

After handing off the movie versions of Moneyball and The Blind Side, Michael Lewis will take on the script for his next big-screen adaptation, Liar’s Poker. The 1989 semi-autobiography details Lewis’s time working on the bond desk at Salomon Brothers in the eighties; the project has been stuck in development for years. If Lewis manages to make his bond-trading movie as compelling as his math movie, could Vulture suggest an adaptation of that German excrement article next? Poop and Nazis: The movie sells itself.
