Nas has a memoir in the works, which he's working on with author Touré, the two announced yesterday. It Ain't Hard to Tell is scheduled to come out in fall 2012, and in it, Nas is "extremely" honest, according to Touré. "I've been talking to Nas about writing his autobiography for 15 years,"
Touré tweeted
. "This is hiphop history. We'll tell his life & deconstruct some songs." Nas's upcoming album Life Is Good is still slated to come out later this year. It Ain't Hard to Tell seems like a fine name and all, but not riffing on his second album's title It Was Written seems like a missed opportunity. It Was Written (In a Book This Time), maybe? [RS]
